Comment Cards SVMI Coaching Institute Day 5

Problem of the Month Do the Tesselation This is a tesselation.

Where are we? Quick Write Think about and record the following… Where are you in your thinking process? (What strategies have you tried? What worked? What didn t? ) What questions do you have at this point? Where will you begin tomorrow?

Creating a Poster Your concluding thoughts on an explanation poster for a level you feel you have completed AND Your current thoughts on a status poster for a level you are still exploring.

Explanation Poster: The focus of your poster should be on how your findings can be justified mathematically and how your findings make sense. Status Poster: The focus of your poster should be on your processes so far and where you think you want to go next and/or questions/wonderings you have about this level. On both, include words and visuals as a part of your justification.

Gallery Walk Gallery Walk Each group will display their poster. Group members examine, explore, and review how other groups are thinking about the problem through… VIABLE ARGUMENTS ATTENDING TO PRECISION Examine at least 2 other groups posters in the next 10 minutes. Return to your group to share the information learned from the other groups posters. NOTE: Please be mindful of our Community Agreements, be respectful of the work others have done and the information shared.
