Tresco is privately owned. This Isles of Scilly lie about 30 miles from Lands End off the south western tip of the United Kingdom. The Abbey Garden itself contains well over 20,000 exotic plants many of which wouldn't even grow on the Cornish mainland.

There hasn’t been a school on Bryher since Local children travel by boat each morning to attend the primary school base on Tresco. Bathing from all our uncrowded beaches is safe and the clear waters of Scilly are ideal for diving and snorkelling. Rushy Bay ranks among the finest beaches of the island.
