FUNCTION TEST (CONT’D) 4 Key off, trans in park, get out of car, close door Press Keypad to turn on illuminated entry. 4 While illuminated entry is on, press 7/8 and 9/0 simultaneously within 5 seconds of turning on the illuminated Entry system 4 Key off, transmission in Park, door closed, lift handle to open door, within 25 seconds, get inside car and turn ignition switch on 4 Enter Permanent code, within 5 seconds, push 1/2 (this tells module to accept a alternate code) 4 Unlock all doors using alternate code 4 Disable alternate code. (Follow procedure)
