ROTOR COILS  It is the moving part of a rotary system

APPLICATION  It is used in : Electric Motor Electric Generator Alternator Pumps  It is widely used in disciplines such as i) Science and Technology -Engineering -Computing -Medicine -Biology -Chemistry ii) Mathematics etc.

HOW IT WORKS??  Rotor rotates because the wires and magnetic field of the motor are arranged so that a torque is developed about the rotor's axis.  In some designs, the rotor can act to serve as the motor's armature, across which the input voltage is supplied.
