Bhartiya Rail Bijlee incorporated on 22.11.07 for setting up of 4 units of 250 MW each of coal based power plant at Nabinagar, district Aurangabad, Bihar. NESCL : set up a JV KINESCO Power and Utilities Pvt. Ltd with Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) on 17.09.08. Transfer of license has been approved, order for transfer of license is being issued vide which license shall come into force w.e.f 1st Dec’09. The investment appraisal report of IDFC and assets transfer scheme of Fox Mandol are under final stages of completion and submission. NVVN: incorporated on 01.11.02 .In current year power traded upto November 2009 is 3.213 Bus. During 2008-09 traded 4.831 bu. Joint Ventures - Power Generation Aravali Power : is setting up Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project of 1500 MW (3x500 MW) in Jhajjar District of Haryana.Construction activities in full swing. Boiler Drum Erected on 12/11/09. NTPC TNEB: to set up a coal-based power station of 1000 MW capacity at Vallur. FR for Phase – II (1x500 MW) expansion also approved by NTECL Board . Nabinagar Power : a JV Company with BSEB for setting-up of a 1980 MW (3X660 MW) coal based power project at New Nabinagar in district Aurangabad of State of Bihar. The project is under Bulk Tendering for which NIT has been issued on 16.10.09. Meja Urja :JV with Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited for setting up a power plant of 1320 MW (2X660 MW) at Meja Tehsil in Allahabad. The project is under Bulk Tendering. NTPC-SAIL Power: Total capacity of 814 MW. Out of 500 MW commissioned during 2008-09, 255 MW capacity is allocated for captive use and the balance 245 MW is allocated for CSEB,UT Daman & Diu and UT Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Generated 1.765 BUs during half year ended 30th September 2009 Ratnagiri: The installed capacity of the company is 1977 MW. KEY ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION Associated with NTPC since 1986. Presently, working as General Manager & Company Secretary of NTPC Limited and in Charge of Corporate Law division. As a team leader, my key role are : Compliance of Companies Act, 1956 Listing Agreement, SEBI Guidelines Negotiating & finalizing joint Ventures Agreements, Shareholders Agreement etc. Ensuring compliance of legal requirements of 5 subsidiaries and 20 Joint ventures of the Company Dealing with Court Cases & all other legal matters of NTPC Limited Finalization of Accounts of some of joint ventures.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS: Professional Handling Initial Public Offering & Further Public Offering of Shares Demerger & Merger Listing & Issue of Debentured/ Bonds Issue & renewal of Public Deposit Schemes Negotiating & Finalizing Joint Venture Agreements/ Shareholders Agreements Maintenance of Accounts of two Joint Venture Companies

Perused matter with Maruti Udyog Limited to produce passenger cars for physically handicaps Taken up matter with ministry of Finance regarding concession in excise duty on passengers cars for disabled persons Taken up matter with Railways for grant of concession to handicaps in AC class Taken up matter with ministry of Finance for enhancement of deduction under Section 80U of the Income Tax Act 1961 .
