3 KEY ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION
As a Finance (Finance, Control, Accounts, Audits, Taxation, Commercial & IT Infra) Head, play a pivotal role in ensuring that the growth and development of the organization occurs consistently in line with business plans within an environment where risks are assessed and constantly monitored. Key responsibilities include Preparing the Annual Business Plans & translating into quantifiable KPIs Variation Analysis of Performance from Annual Business Plan & taking/suggesting Corrective Actions Monthly MIS reporting of the organization through ‘Performance Dashboard’ & Reporting responsibility to parent organization as per IFRS, Financial controls review of existing business processes and defined controls for new business processes, Review of probable financial risks for the company & corrective measures to mitigate it. Responsible for successful completion of Statutory Audit & Corporate Internal Audit. Responsible for both Direct & Indirect Taxation matters including handling assessment at DRP & CIT(A) levels Responsible for working capital and other supply chain performance indicators. Responsible for IT infrastructure and System applications, like SAP, Botree(Distributor end software), etc Heading commercial team, responsible for Distributor claim management & Market Hygiene audit, Part of Multi cross functional project teams - Rewards and Employee Recognition Strategy, sales & distribution cost optimization Project, & Project Reach Team to increase the market penetration and increase reach & availability of Nivea across cities, outlets etc. Negotiate and finalization of margins and rate with Key Accounts customers and vendors. Approvals and management/reporting of various marketing schemes and plans,

4 MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS Led a cross functional project team to create a sales and distribution cost optimization model that reduced distributor’s strength from 150 to 15 and targeted increase in the weighted distribution. The organization was able to reduce distribution complexity which in turn reduced the fixed cost, and improved distributor’s ROI. This was in year 2010 & 2011 Evaluated as Top Performer (Exceed expectations) in last 3 years assessments in NIVEA India and once again selected by management to be a part of a Strategic Project Reach Team, to increase the market penetration and increase reach & availability of Nivea across cities, outlets etc. The Project is just been successful completed. Implemented the internal control system (NFCM - Novartis Financial Control Manual):-Worked with Global tem of Novartis and had implemented the NFCM control system in OTC BU. NFCM is a Control Matrix system based on SOX requirements. Also represented India in “In Control Training Programme” – a special training organized by Novartis in Singapore

5 MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS Six Sigma Project on Import Process:- Successfully completed the SIX Sigma project in Tata Steel as a Team Leader, which involves re designing the Import Process and Availment of Full CENVAT Credit of CVD(Custom Duty). This resulted in saving of 5.47 crs to Tata Steel Won Awards for contribution in Knowledge Management: - Started the Knowledge Management Community for F&A Dept of Tata Steel, and was nominated as Convener of it by Dy. MD. Won the “Best Practitioner” at Champion Level and “Best Contributor” at Apex level (MD Level) in Six Sigma Project Leader & Faculty member at TATA STEEL Management Development Centre (TMDC), Convener of the Finance & Accounts Division Community in Knowledge Management & Facilitator of Quality Circle, which represented F&A Division at the Apex Level in Tata Steel
