Do people in Sutton go Hungry?

Yes!  Last Thanksgiving, about 200 needed a meal.  Last Christmas, 211 people were fed.  This winter, about 17 families went to the food pantry each week.

What can we do to help?  Donate!  Now that winter is ending, the food pantry is depleted.  It is our duty as citizens of the Town of Sutton to help

What to donate?  Boxed Items  Condiments (ketchup, maple syrup, ect.)  Coffee and coffee filters Each of these items will be worth 1 point.

The Food Pantry does something else too!  They give out personal items  Shampoo, soap, ect.  All these items will be worth 2 points!

Brainstorming!  Write down ideas of items to donate in each of the 1 point or 2 point columns.

Next Week  Your class is going to collect all these items that will be given to the Sutton Food Pantry.  Every Morning when you bring something in, go put a tally up in the correct column next to your name.

Competition  This food drive is a competition!  The class that has the most items will get an ice cream party the week after the Food Drive.
