Selected results (continued) Goods exporters with total value of exports worth $100m or more in : Less than 1% of the total number Contributed 83% by value to total goods exports. Services exporters with total value of services exports worth $100m or more in : 1% of the total number Contributed 20% by value to total services exports

Selected results (continued) Goods exporters with total value of exports less than $100,000 in : 67% of the total number Contributed less than 1% by value to total goods exports. Goods exporters in the Mining industry in : 1% of the total number Contributed 48% by value to total goods exports.

Selected results (continued) During , 20,191 (47%) of goods exporters lodged only 1 or 2 export transactions The total value of their goods exports was $1b (less than 1% of total goods exports). Mining had the highest correlation (83%) between the industry that produced the commodity and the industry which exported the final product.

Methodology Key is Australian Business Number (ABN): ABN recorded on: Customs lodgements Businesses selected in the Survey of International Trade in Services ABS Business Register which includes: –Name, address and industry details from the Australian Business Register –Sizing information derived from Taxation information
