Health Presentation

Your Challenge You are the teacher for your topic. Create a 3-5 minute presentation about: 1.Nutrition 2.Drug 3.Disease You will also need to create a visual aid to use during your presentation Examples: Poster, Powerpoint, Movie etc.

Learning Targets Long Term I can give an informative 3-5 minute health presentation to my class. Supporting L.T.s 1.I can gather accurate information from at least two different sources. 2.I can take notes using a word document or notecards 3.I can use a Citation Maker to list my sources. 4.I can use class time productively. 5.I can demonstrate clear delivery skills during my presentation. 6.I will use notecards to aid (not read) my delivery skills. 7.I can create a powerpoint/poster that will add facts to my presentation. 8.I can correctly answer my teacher’s and classmates’ questions. 9.I can pass the quiz at the end of all presentations.

Presentation Grading Student Presentations = 30 points Daily points (including research, note taking and audience behavior) = 5 points per day. Quiz reviewing presentations = points See back side of handout for rubric information.

Library Expectations continued Google can be used to save pictures for your presentation. Make sure pictures are appropriate for class. Save all word documents, pictures, powerpoints etc to you’re H Drive under your name. We will use the H and S drive to access your presentation and check your work.
