Secondary Colors -Colors made by mixing primary colors -Orange= red and yellow -Green= yellow and blue -Violet= blue and red

Neutral Colors -Black -White -Gray

Hue The name of the color Distinguishes one color from another

Value The degree of darkness or lightness within the color.

Intensity Degree of brightness – High intensity = Bright – Low intensity = Dull

Tint A color on the lighter side of the color or hue.

Shade A color on the darker side of the color or hue.

Harmonies Group of colors used in combination to create pleasing visual images.
