Early Intervention Services Data Getting Familiar With The Data 3 Means and Medians of EI Services There are 43, minutes in a month. A newborn sleeps on average of 16 hours per day and is awake for 8 hours (480 minutes) a day OR 14,600 minutes per month. A 1-3 year old needs hours of sleep a day and is awake hours ( minutes) a day OR 18,250-21,900 minutes per month.
