Planning Activities All-Hands Meeting to Describe Planning Process, Level Set [Sept 8,2009] –Meeting took place on September 8, 2009 from 10:00-11:30am with faculty from UCSD and UCI linked together via VTC. –Meeting materials may be accessed at: –Username: calit2 (lowercase)Password: 2010 Technical Working Group Meetings [Sept 25-December 4, 2009] –Technical working groups will meet in from Sept-early Dec to provide technical input on future directions. –Goal is for working groups to meet 2-3 times. Reverse Town Hall Meeting [Week of December 7, 2009] –Volunteer leads of each technical working group will co-present the results of their working group discussions –Each group will be given 15 minutes to present, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.

Overview of Planning Activities Continued Freeze Input, Develop Final Draft of Document [Dec-early Jan 2010] –All input from technical working groups and community will be finalized by December 11, –A final draft of the document will be created by January 15, Review Cycle [January 2010] –Review by Calit2 Governing and Advisory Groups –Calit2 Divisional Councils at UCI and UCSD –Calit2 Executive Governing Board –Calit2 Advisory Board. Finalizing the Plan Forward [February 2010] –The document will be finalized and publicized on the web by March 1, 2010.
