NIGERIAN SAT The Nigerian satellites are called Nigerian Sat-1, Nigerian Sat-2 and Nigerian Sat-X. The first Sat that was launched in the orbit was Nigerian Sat-1 by Russians on September 27 th, Nigerian Sat-2 and Nigerian Sat-X was launched in August 18 th, The main reason for these SATs is to monitor disasters and other issues within Nigeria. Such issues include pollution, floods etc.

REASONS FOR NIGERIAN SAT-1, NIGERIAN SAT-2, AND NIGERIAN SAT-X To give warning in advance for natural disaster such as earthquakes, volcano, floods, storms etc. To manage or avoid disaster caused by man such as erosion, oil pollution, deforestation, forest fire etc. They can be used for water resource development and management. That is, to access the quality and quantity of surface or underground water. They can also be used to predict rainfall. They are used to determine and differentiate host mineral areas that have deposit of oil, gas and solid minerals. They can be used in agriculture for mapping and land use planning. For mapping of states and boundaries between countries. They can also give early warning of outbreak of diseases.

COURIER SERVICES These are services rendered by corporate organizations.
