History of the problem media Pictures of meaningful street art and street music. script Our first amendment gives us the right to expression. Why is the government limiting us? They repress the music and art that comes from the people. We speak out, but are voices are not heard. Throughout history, street artists and musicians have put our country’s flaws on display, asking for change. The fate of America is in the hands of it’s people. The solution lies within. Artists and Musicians hold the key to insuring that all voices are heard.

Graffiti Many people consider graffiti nothing more than vandalism, however this is not the case. It allows people to send out a message to society with nothing more than a cheap can of spray paint. It is a form of art, and it is a voice for the people who thought that they were unheard. Not only is graffiti art, but it’s also an element that defines our culture. Street art documents our existence. Our cities would look barren and lifeless without street art. As an effective tool to raise awareness of current issues, graffiti in in various forms has been a part of our society since the beginning. History reveals graffiti addressing war, discrimination, civil rights, politics and more. Graffiti is revolutionizing art and self-expression. It’s time that we accept this change. Graffiti pictures SONG

Censorship Alternative artists of the 21st century have proven that freedom of expression is more than a privilege. It is a right. Musicians are using their voices to address problems that America has brushed to the side. America has long ignored the voices of the outspoken, of the challengers, and of the opinionated. It is time for this to change. Censorship of music violates our rights to freedom of speech. Music is a way to publicize the issues in our society, and people have the right to hear the truth. It’s no secret that America has a long way to go, and much to improve on. Alternative artists demand that we the people be heard, and their revolution is the first step to a nation where everyone has a voice, and where nobody’s voice is silenced by our government. Pictures of musicians SONG

Transition Art, “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination” SONG

Recommendation for addressing the problem media Pictures or art/ music SONG script Censorship in any form should be illegal. Our nation was founded on the principal that everyone in society has a voice. These musicians and artist are fighting for this right everyday. They work every day to outlaw censorship of art and music, and, it’s our job to listen Support your local bands and artists.

Interview How do you think this problem can be solved? How would you solve it personally? What are the benefits of this?

Opposition media Pictures- pictures of inappropriate language in art and graffiti. SONG script Parents don’t want our most vulnerable citizens to be exposed to vulgar language Both graffiti and music hold this threat Our children need to learn about our society’s problems now so that they are able to address them in the future

Call to action media Black background – In the last 15 seconds, in white letters “stop censorship” script America, open your eyes and ears. We encounter acts of the outspoken everyday, but we often ignore them. We expect change, but we aren’t willing to create it. We want to exercise our own rights, but we revoke the liberties of each other. If we want change, then we need speak out, and in return listen. Together – “stop censorship”
