History of the problem media Pictures of meaningful street art and street music. script Our first amendment gives us the right to expression. Why is the government limiting us? They repress the music and art that comes from the people. We speak out, but are voices are not heard. Throughout history, street artists and musicians have put our country’s flaws on display, asking for change. The fate of America is in the hands of it’s people. The solution lies within. Artists and Musicians hold the key to insuring that all voices are heard.

Graffiti Many people consider graffiti nothing more than vandalism, however this is not the case. It allows people to send out a message to society with nothing more than a cheap can of spray paint. It is a form of art, and it is a voice for the people who thought that they were unheard. Not only is graffiti art, but it’s also an element that defines our culture. Street art documents our existence. Our cities would look barren and lifeless without street art. As an effective tool to raise awareness of current issues, graffiti in in various forms has been a part of our society since the beginning. Censorship Alternative artists of the 21st century have proven that freedom of expression is more than a privilege. It is a right. Musicians are using their voices to address problems that America has brushed to the side. America has long ignored the voices of the outspoken, of the challengers, and of the opinionated. It is time for this to change. Censorship of music violates our rights to freedom of speech. Music is a way to publicize the issues in our society, and people have the right to hear the truth. It’s no secret that America has a long way to go, and much to improve on. Alternative artists demand that we the people be heard, and their revolution is the first step to a nation where everyone has a voice, and where nobody’s voice is silenced by our government.
