Education of women Women usually stay at home because they weren´t able to work.Their education was rarely higher.In present time are women hold very high post in work for example a lot of womens are successful psychologists, jurists, politicians and economists.

Life of women in household Life of women in household was stereotype. They got up about 6 oclock, in the village much they prepared breakfast, woke up children and sent off husband to work. In winter they took children to school and went to shop in order to replenish stock. In summer they were working with man and children on field. Taking care about animals was their job. They returned home, made something in the garden, and it was lunchtime. After lunch they made the washing up, launder the clothes and they helped one's childrens with their homework. They had to do the ironing, the washing up, the cleaning house and make order in the house. When man returned home, woman had to be kind and didnt loaded him with problems and prepared good dinner. These activities took a lot of time because these were on household stability.

Woman fashion The typical clothes in 19-th and 20-th century was folk. Folk is clothes which comprise skirt, headscarf, blouse and decorative paragons on blouse. For each region on Slovakia was typical different folk and traditions. Everyone sunday was holiday and women walked to church. When women went to church they had dressed folk with decorative paragons.

The role of women in family on start of last century 1.Woman wasn´t paterfamilias but always man. 2.Woman didn´t make important decision in family. 3.Woman couldn´t work as man but she worked in household. 4.Woman had to worry about children. 5.Woman was inferior in family as man.
