There skirts were decorated with small turkey feathers.
They wore clothes out of animals skin like deerskin, bear,panther,beaver and buffalo

The groom would send deer to the girls family this proved he was a good hunter and would always provide his wife with food.
The bride gave him a ear of corn to show she would tend to her gardening and she could prepare good food.
