Discover The Education Plus Difference Blending cyber education with small group instruction. Providing opportunities for social and emotional learning. Meeting students needs in a unique, effective way. Developing specialized learning instruction for students with learning differences.

Meet The Total Learning Center Total Learning Centers is a privately owned, academic, brain-based learning facility with locations through Western Pa. TLC offers one-on-one, small group, class tutoring and remediation. Founded in 1999, by Drs. Joe and Carol Utay. For more information, call 724-940-1040. Partnering with Education Plus Academy Cyber Charter School in Western Pennsylvania.

The Education Plus Story First publicly funded cyber charter school created by and for parents of children with learning disabilities and learning differences. Founded in 2012 in Philadelphia. First Western PA area location in Wexford, 2013. Rapid growth through Pennsylvania to 780 students across 17 counties.

Philosophy of Education Every child can succeed educationally once we discover their best way to learn. Technology opens doors of opportunity not found in a traditional classroom. Care for the whole child, producing academic, social, and emotional improvement. Empathy, compassion, and teamwork are essential. Parents are a vital component of academic success.

Education Plus in WeStern Pa Enrolling grades 1-10 for 2015/16 school year. Adding grade 11 for 2016/17 school year. Adding grade 12 for 2017/18 school year. Three locations: Wexford, Bridgeville, and Murrysville.

Education Plus in Murrysville

Unique Educational Opportunities Small group instruction. Remedial coaching sessions. Individual Education Plan (IEP) for identified Special Education students. Laptop for each student. Individualized virtual curriculum.

Specialized Instruction Teachers are trained in specialized remedial Math and Language curriculums such as Orton Gillingham Reading and Schuler Math. Students are closely monitored for progress and given special instruction in areas of difficulty. Coaching sessions and small group instruction are provided to increase potential for success..

Two Cyber Options Center Model Student attends the Center 4-5 days per week. Parents are involved in the student’s progress and communication between home and school is important. There are some designated home-based only cyber days and inclement weather home-based cyber days as needed. Center/Home Blended Model Students are home-based 2-4 days per week. Daily Parental involvement and oversight of home-based activities is vital. Center-based small group instruction or coaching 1-2 times per week is available as needed.
