Should You Be Praised by the World? Was Jesus praised by the world and its leaders? Were the disciples praised by the world? As a Christian should you be praised by the world? Each of these questions should receive a resounding NO from each of you. When the world begins to heap praise and adulation upon you, it is time to question your salvation. When the world praises you it means that your Christian witness is not effective, for the world only praises those who are like itself. For instance, if you are telling them that it is wrong to live in sin, then they will shun and hate you. If you tell them that the Bible condemns homosexuality, adultery, fornication, lasciviousness, and all other immorality, then they will tell you who are you to judge them. They will begin to shun and hate you for you are a witness against their wicked deeds. The world loves and praises those who approve of their wickedness!

The World Hates Born-Again Christians John 15: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. 23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. 25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. 1 John 2: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Look at who the World Praises The world praises all that is in the world. They heap praise upon those who live in the depths of sin. They heap praise on murderers, adulterers, fornicators, abortionists, liars, deceivers, and the most wicked persons imaginable. This past Friday the world worshipped their savior Barack Obama by awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize. The Antichrist is going to rise as a man of peace! At this present time I am not ready to declare that the president of the United States is the Antichrist, but his actions certainly dictate that he has the spirit of the Antichrist. All of the world is praising this wicked deceiver who is using all of the power of Satan to his advantage. He has shown that he has a dislike for Israel and the Jews. His speeches indicate that he also hates the preacher of righteousness for the righteous preacher preaches against his lies and deceptions. The righteous preacher preaches against living in sin and debauchery! The world does not like to be told that they must repent or perish! The world wants to be told that everything is OK and there is a home for them in heaven and that they can continue living in their wickedness.

Just as the world hunted down Jesus Christ they are going to hunt the Born-Again Christian and persecute you in the near future. Already judgments have been passed against those who home school their children. Already we have heard about the hate crimes bill that targets preachers who preach against sin. We are living in the day where the rapture of the church can happen at any time. We are living in the days where the rise of the Antichrist is imminent! You have a choice whether to be loved by the world and an enemy of God or to be one of the few who are redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ and hated by the world. Today is the day to decide where you are going to spend eternity. Choose who you will follow whether Jesus to heaven or the world which will lead you to hell. Acts 2:38 tells us to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Redemption begins with repentance and baptism in Jesus Name. You are standing before two doors, one leading to paradise and the other leading to a fiery pit. Which door is in your future? Condemned By The World
