The Unit of Schools in Rogów

The Unit of Schools in Rogów - consists of Marshals Józef Piłsudski Primary School and Junior High School - is a traditional Polish school but it does not mean that we are not modern – we try to use ICT in our everyday school life. Unit of Schools in Rogów

The turning point was when the school got a camcorder. Since then the members of WebBusters Circle have been filming all the interesting events, make films, which – at the beginning – were put on and now we have created our own film base on our server. Unit of Schools in Rogów

Now we have got some successes: A short film that you can find on DVD, a film which promoted our school on an international e- twinning conference in Prague, and many others to be watched on Unit of Schools in Rogów

PRAGUE

Some students of our Junior High School have been creating a school website under my supervision [ and it is systematically updated. Unit of Schools in Rogów

Some of the classes are led in a computer laboratory classroom. Software added to course books makes the lessons much more interesting and easy to understand. Some teachers and the students very often use a laptop and a projector on the lessons.

ICT enables our students contacts and cooperation within e-twinning projects with colleagues from other European (and not only…) countries Unit of Schools in Rogów Common Sky over Europe (mail, video, PowerPoint, www, Excel, forum, videoconference – Skype) Our primary school English teachers project with Norway (PowerPoint, mail) Polish – Chinese Language Project with Taiwan (film, PowerPoint, www)

The students use to be in touch with some of the teachers and to send their homework. They solve problems and get information from the teachers by the use of software to communicate – mainly Gadu Gadu (Chat Chat) Unit of Schools in Rogów
