ADVISEMENT Tk20 gives academic advisors and their advisees full and complete information about candidates’ academic progress and their program requirements right on their computer screen. Advisement is immediate, informed and painless.

ADVISEMENT Each program is configured to have its own set of transition points. Each transition point can have a checklist associated with it, documenting the steps each candidate must complete for progressing beyond the transition point.

ADVISEMENT It includes test scores, certifications, transcripts, and other information related to all courses taken.

WHAT CAN STUDENTS DO WITH Tk20? Candidates can create standards- based lesson plans, unit plans, essays, reflection papers, rubrics, website URLs, work samples or any other artifacts required in their teacher education program.

FIELD/CLINICAL EXPERIENCES Candidates can record ongoing journals about their field experiences and get online feedback from cooperating teachers and university supervisors on their performance. Completed field experience artifacts can be attached to course and program portfolios.

TRACKING PROGRESS Students can track their progress within the program both through the advising component and through the Gradebook.

MESSAGING Students can send and receive messages and attach artifacts for feedback and/or grading.

SYLLABUS Students can find their course syllabus online.

ASSIGNMENTS Assignments will be posted electronically and feedback will also be given electronically.
