Time Management Activity

What are you doing? 1. Tracking how you use your time for a week. 2. Summarize/analyze your week 3. Create a Time Management Plan 4. Compare & Contrast to others in class

Tracking Time 1. Use the “Weekly Time Log” 2. Fill in what you are doing every half hour -”Nothing” is not an option” 3. Do this for one week

Summarize & Analyze Data 1. Use “Summary of Activities…” Located on the Back of the Weekly Time Log 2. Analyze the Data- Answer the questions in #2 on “Time Management Activity” Worksheet- this is to be part of a paper- follow standard writing guidelines.

Create & Follow New Schedule 1. Create a Weekly Schedule for you to follow- use “Planned Weekly Schedule” -Use “Time Scheduling Suggestions” and any other tips 1. Follow Schedule for a Week 2. Write a reflection of this new schedule- put on same paper as your original Time Management Analysis.

Final Product 1. Due March 15- we will also discuss them this day 2. This Project is 50 points- 10% of your final grade 3. What will be turned in: -Time Log- 10 points - Summary of Activities- 10 points - Planned Weekly Schedule- 10 Points - Written Paper/ Reflection- 20 Points
