Overview Aim: to consider how, and how well, a specific classroom science activity links to the world of work.

Horticulture video How good would this be: as a stimulus for science inquiry? as a way to bring the world of work into the science classroom?

Horticulture video Is this a workplace context that your students are likely to recognise? In which ways could you encourage them to think about scientific questions that arise from the context? In which ways, and to what extent, does the video provide some careers guidance?

The student experience How would your students respond to the task? Make a note of your thinking.
