Founded in 1986 under the affiliation of the State Council an official funding institution for the NNS Fund to support initiative research and talent training in fundamental sciences in China 2005 budget: RMB 2.7 billion (non-salary), about ¼ of the national fundamental research budget annual increase rate of the budget: over 20% 84M budget in 2005 for international cooperation National Natural Science Foundation of China General Introduction

National Natural Science Foundation of China It is the unique organization in China that accepts free applications from Chinese researchers all over the country in fundamental sciences and adopts the peer review system to select the best for support.
