Habitat Polar bears need to live in the Arctic Polar bears like to live on ice and snow

Diet They eat fish, walruses and seals. They wait by a seal’s breathing hole in the ice to spot their prey and grab them with their giant paws. Polar bears usually hunt and live alone

Appearance They have big paws and thick white fur to keep them warm. Polar bears weigh between seven hundred and sixteen hundred pounds Their paws are webbed to help them swim. The polar bear’s big feet and claws help them to move around on the ice.
