CTI at a glance Established in 1985 –headquarters in Patras, Greece Non-profit organisation, supervised by the Greek Ministry of National Education. Closely affiliated to the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras –integrated environment for scientific research and for the design and development of products and solutions –financially and administratively independent research institution, following private sector regulations 250 people (170 scientists)

15 The Annex description of T4.4 “The goal of this task is to interconnect deployed sensor networks from T4.2 and T4.3 in the WBC centres with the existing sensor networks in the labs of other partners. Furthermore, the overlay network will be enhanced with a web based remote access that will allow access and query of the WBC WSNs from one single place”

16 How to proceed The WebDust system can be used as the interconnection overlay, since: -it fits the Annex requirements -it is easy to use -has been deployed and tested in the near past. A decision should be taken early enough
