Show Me Books The Show Me Readers Award is selected by students in grades one through three and presented annually. The Show Me Readers Award is a children's choice award sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. The Show Me Readers Award is to promote literature, literacy, and reading in Missouri elementary schools for grades one through three, and to promote recognition of authors and illustrators of books that are favorites of Missouri children in these grades.

Caldecott Medal Books The Caldecott Medal, established in 1937, is awarded to the illustrator of the most distinguished American picture book each year.
