Science and Technology A reason why I thought why the Aztecs had the best achievement was that they built a city on a lake. Also they wanted to farm so they made chinampas that were made by a bed of soil and a mate made of reeds and these chinampas are still taken care of today. The Aztecs made a calendar just like the Mayans but the Aztecs priests used the Mayan sacred calendar. one of the most wonderful science technology was a calendar that was called the sun stone dedicated to the sun god, also this stone was beautifully carved and weighs 25 tones

Art and architecture Another great achievements was there art and there art was one of the best. The Aztecs were one of the civilization to make poems and people would dance to there poems. The Aztec poems would be divided into different genres like war, gods, and myths. One of the most famous and important poem was Romances de los Señores de la Nueva España. This poem was probably found by Juan Bautista de pomar. Luckily these poems have survived over the years. Also the Aztecs made some sculptures but the most famous an ornament that has turquois mosaic on carved wooden base with red and white shells on its mouths.

Language and writing The Aztecs writing was the most unique writing because they used pictures or syllabic signs to write letters on deer hide or plant fiber. This writing system called pictographs would use no alphabet. This system of writing would have abstract concepts such as death. An example for a pictograph is a Tenochtitlan is represented by combining two pictograms : stone (te-tl) and cactus (nochtli).some symbolic signs have been on artifacts such as tizoc stone.

conclusion This is why I think that the Aztec civilization is the one that has the special achievements. they have most creative inventions like there chinampas and there writing system.
