Book vs. Film?

In the case of the Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne before his reading he had available only his own assumptions based on appearance and enigmatic cover note from the publisher. As you get to know him - he was terrified, and he wandered tirelessly on - Bruno-explorer on his last expedition...

The film, in a rather unconventional way, shows the problem of German-Jewish relations during the Second World War. It focuses on showing the values of friendship, family, work, the nation but also the nature of devotion or obedience to the chief.
