The Hertz Commitment To Saving the Environment The Green Collection  Line of fuel efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles with an EPA highway fuel efficiency rating of 28 miles or more per gallon.  Fleet currently contains more than 35,000 Green Collection vehicles, including the Toyota Prius.  For every reserved and paid Green Collection rental, Hertz will contribute $1 to the National Park Foundation with a minimum contribution of $1 Million! Recycling Programs for Car Wash Wastewater & Used Oil  All car washes installed at Hertz facilities recycle and reuse a minimum of 80% of wastewater.  Hertz only contracts with vendors that will recycle our used oil.
