Managing for Development Results (MfDR) is a development planning and management approach or strategy which emphasizes outcomes or results to ensure development effectiveness. Governments are increasingly being called upon to be more accountable for results. Governments are increasingly being called upon to be more accountable for results. Citizens, parliamentarians and media expect “national public management” to focus beyond inputs, activities and outputs towards “outcomes” and “impacts”.
