Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father

who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6 KJV

2. The Power of Intercession Acts 7:58-60 KJV - And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. Intercession - to stand in and represent someone. To stand in the gap!

Hebrews 7:25 KJV - Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Christ’s Intercession

3. The power of travailing prayer Mark 11:24 KJV - Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Three Types of Powerful Prayer
