Organization Overview The mHealth Alliance champions the use of mobile technologies to improve health throughout the world. Working with diverse partners to integrate mHealth into multiple sectors, the Alliance serves as a convener for the mHealth community to overcome common challenges by sharing tools, knowledge, experience, and lessons learned. Type of Business The mHealth Alliance is a non-profit organization hosted by the United Nations Foundation. Motivation for Joining Open Health Tools The mHealth Alliance supports Open Health Tools’ mission to improve health systems through the advancement of health information technologies. We hope by becoming a member we will build and expand upon our existing networks to further advance knowledge sharing and collaboration within mHealth. Involvement with Open Health Tools The mHealth Alliance acts as an mHealth community convener in the field of global health and will contribute to membership by providing strategic input and direction through our thought-leadership and promoting OHT’s work through our online channels & networks.
