And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.’ Matthew 10:42

How to Give Well - Matthew 6:1-4 Good givers will be rewarded! ‘You will be rewarded’ – v4 So what are these rewards? Not health or wealth Beware of any preacher that offers these! The rewards God gives are more valuable than material things. Rewards on earth - peace, comfort, satisfaction, acceptance and reassurance from God (Beatitudes) Rewards he keeps for us in heaven - Matt 5:12 & 25:23

‘Great is your reward in heaven’, Matthew 5:12

‘You have been faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things’. Matthew 25:23

How to Give Well - Matthew 6:1-4 Good givers will be rewarded – v4. What are these rewards? Not health or wealth. Beware of any preacher that offers these! The rewards God gives are more valuable than material things. Rewards on earth - peace, comfort, satisfaction, acceptance and reassurance from God (Beatitudes) Rewards he keeps for us in heaven - Matt 5:12 & 25:23 Don’t work for rewards – but be assured that if you give freely you will not lose out but actually gain. Only when you die to self and live for God and others will you get what you seek!
