In this configuration, you can only access panels available in the 2.0.12 format (about 200 panels currently). Install XP Mode to get access to all panels (about 550 panels). Switch to XP Mode before installing Compass 2.0.12. XP Mode software can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx. XP Mode is not available on Windows 7 Home edition. On Windows Vista OS, you will have access only to panels converted to Compass 2.0.12 format (about 200 panels currently). More panels will be converted in a phased, incremental manner as time goes on. The Compass 2.0.12 installation can migrate the MS Access database to the new 32bit SQL Express during Standard/Server installation. See the installation guide on the Compass 2.0.12 CD for more information. To use Compass 2.0.12 in a network, use the “Standard/Server” installation, which installs the Compass database, on the PC to be used as the “Server” then do the Client installation on all other PCs which will access this database over the network. Use the Database Management Utility, located at Start->Programs->Compass Windows Downloader ->DatabaseManagementUtility to change/backup/restore/migrate your database. An existing licensed SQL Server can be selected during installation of Compass 2.0.12, see the installation guide on the Compass 2.0.12 CD for more information Compass is not compatible with Windows XP 64 bit OS
