Paper Sections  Introduction  Key elements of your online program  Opportunities, challenges, strengths and weaknesses of your online program (and how you might overcome the weaknesses)  Summary

References  Must cite 3 appropriate sources from EDUI 6701

Paper Requirements  12 point font  Single spaced  Edit carefully  1,000 (900 – 1100 word paper) excluding references  Use Microsoft “Word Count” feature  Standard margins  Cite work using Reference page

Directions to Follow  Present a premise followed by data to support your premise  Bridge paragraphs with transition phrases  Select meaningful headings for topics  Conclude with a clear summary of your work  Post a draft in Week 5 by Tuesday

Create Your Own Rubric  500 points based on your paper  Assign yourself up to 500 points for what you think is a perfect paper and have the points based on your rubric  Craft a strong paper

Include the Following Items in Your Rubric and Your Paper - 1  Start off with a positive and confident tone  Know and define your target audience and the benefits of online offering  Anticipate opponents’ criticisms and develop your thesis to refute criticism with examples of successful courses or programs, and support your statements with examples, references, citations

Include the Following Items in Your Rubric and Your Paper - 2  Stress benefits of online, and support your statements with examples, references, and citations  Offer solutions to each challenge and weakness  Demonstrate and discuss concepts learned in EDUI 6701 in your paper
