Song lyrics: Blowin with the wind  How many roads must a man walk down Before they call him a man? How many seas must a white dove sail Before she sleeps in the sand? How many times must the cannon balls fly Before they're forever banned? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many years must a mountain exist Before it is washed to the sea? How many years can some people exist Before they're allowed to be free? How many times can a man turn his head And pretend that he just doesn't see? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many times must a man look up Before he can see the sky? How many ears must one man have Before he can hear people cry? How many deaths will it take till he knows That too many people have died? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind. The answer is blowin' in the wind.

I think that it reflect the culture of the It poses a series of questions about peace, war and freedom

The Best selling novel  “The Group” written by Mary McCarthy.  The book describes these women’s lives post-graduation, beginning with the marriage of one of the friends, Kay Strong, and ending with her funeral in Each character struggles with different issues, including sexism in the work place, child-raising, financial difficulties, family crises, and sexual relationships.  Born: June 21, Died: October 25, 1989( ) (aged 77) Education: Vassar College  Born in Seattle, Washington, to Roy Winfield McCarthy and his wife, the former Therese Preston, McCarthy was orphaned at the age of six when both her parents died.

President  John F. Kennedy  After military service as commander of the Motor Torpedo Boat PT-109 and Moto Torpedo Boat PT-59 during World War II in the South Pacific, Kennedy represented Massachusetts's 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953 as a Democrat. Thereafter, he served in the U.S. Senate from 1953 until He was in office from January 20, 1961 – November 22, people felt that he was a very good president.  Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas.  Events during his presidency included the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the building of the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, the African American Civil Rights Movement and early stages of the Vietnam War.

Popular TV show  The Beverly Hillbillies  Main Characters: Donna Douglas’Elly May Clampett, Buddy Ebsen ‘Jed Clampett, Nancy Kulp ‘Jane Hathaway, Irene Ryan ‘Daisy Moses "Granny", Raymond Bailey’ Milburn Drysdale, Max Baer Jr. ‘Jethro Bodine.  Genre: Comedy  The series is about a poor backwoods family transplanted to Beverly Hills, California, after striking oil on their land.  I think the show is hilarious and goofy. And I love the granny. !

Sports figure  Arnold Palmer. Golfer Arnold Palmer had major competition from the young up-and-comer Jack Nicklaus, but early in the decade of the 1960's, the greens and links were Palmer's. Arnold won the Masters Tournament in 1960, 1962 and 1964, the U.S. Open in 1960 and the British Open in 1961 and Between 1960 and 1963 he won 29 titles and earned near the mid-six figures, in a time when money was worth something.  Born: Sept. 10, 1929, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania Nickname The King or, more simply, Arnie.  Quote: “Success in golf depends less on strength of body than upon strength of mind and character.”

My Opinion !!♥  I think that the year 1963 was a year full of joy with things such as the martin Luther king movement and stuff going on and a year full of devastation with things such as President John F Kennedy’s assassination. And I think that the technology has gotten way better. The economy isn't that good. But there is a lot of stuff that is better, and there's still a lot of things that haven't changed over the years.
