The Isaiah 61 Initiative Building People & Places For the Kingdom of God

The Isaiah 61 Initiative “…To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. [Building People] And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations. [Building Places]” Isaiah 61:3-4

Isaiah 61: Three Point Process 1.Information People become recipients of “good information” 2.Transformation Good information transforms broken people. 3.Revitalization Transformed people revitalize barren places.

“When you get the people right, the people get the place right.”
