Homelessness in OC The “Impossible” Taking Place

The Statistics Orange County’s Housing Market is one of the most expensive in the nation. Renters must earn at least $29.73 an hour to afford the aforementioned apartment, if rent is not to exceed 30% of their income. A single parent working three minimum wage jobs would not earn $61,840. In there were approximately 45,000 homeless people in Orange County including 25,964 homeless children. Source:
