N C Diploma: BIT: S4: Project Management: Network Analysis Tutor: N R Hartland 2 Session Aims: The overall aim of the session is to: To provide learners with the core knowledge and understanding of project management techniques as applied in the business world. Learners should be able to analyse a project by manual methods using network analysis techniques, which will be further explored in this session. Learners will be able to determine critical paths and perform calculations relating to network diagrams.

Draw a network (arrow) diagram. Use dummies in diagrams. Determine the critical path in network diagrams and perform a variety of calculations on such diagrams.
