Climb on, climb up high Climb on, climb up high Looking for a love that will never die. Reach up, reach for the sky, Climb on, climb up high. Life’s an adventure, full of hopes and fears, Twists and turns, as we face the years. With Jesus as our leader we can stay the course, And be his Xpedition Force!

Climb on, climb up high (1) Climb on, climb up high Looking for a love that will never die. Reach up, reach for the sky, Climb on, climb up high. Jesus climbs the road to Jerusalem, Will the people see what he means for them? As they sing hallelujah when they welcome him, And his time in the holy city begins.

Climb on, climb up high (2) Climb on, climb up high Looking for a love that will never die. Reach up, reach for the sky, Climb on, climb up high. Jesus climbs to Simon’s house in Bethany, A woman blesses him there for all to see, And she’s preparing him as she fears the worst, But her kindness is known through all the earth.

Climb on, climb up high (3) Climb on, climb up high Looking for a love that will never die. Reach up, reach for the sky, Climb on, climb up high. Jesus climbs the path to Gethsemane, Says to his disciples, ‘Won’t you pray with me?’ But they are fast asleep when the soldiers come, Judas kisses Jesus and the deed is done.

Climb on, climb up high (5) Climb on, climb up high Looking for a love that will never die. Reach up, reach for the sky, Climb on, climb up high. Jesus climbs the way called Calvary, People mock him there, nail him to a tree. He’s buried in a tomb, is this the bitter end? Will we ever hear of this Jesus again?

Climb on, climb up high (6) Climb on, climb up high Looking for a love that will never die. Reach up, reach for the sky, Climb on, climb up high. Women climb the hill at the Sunday dawn, Find the tomb is empty, where’s the master gone? But Jesus speaks to them, and then they realise, That he is the love that will never, never die.

Do this, do this (1) Do this, do this and remember me, When you share this meal together. Do this, do this and remember me, I will be with you for ever. Jesus eating with his friends in a room in Galilee, Takes the bread and takes the wine, says ‘These things are like me, The bread is for my body, and the wine is for my blood, I give them both to you my friends a gift from God above.’

Do this, do this (2) Do this, do this and remember me, When you share this meal together. Do this, do this and remember me, I will be with you for ever. ‘Take the bread and take the wine and share them with me now, Pass this celebration on to tell the people how I am with you always, so no matter where you are, Just think of me when I am gone and I will hear your pray’r.’

Do this, do this (3) Do this, do this and remember me, When you share this meal together. Do this, do this and remember me, I will be with you for ever. Now two thousand years have passed and yet we still recall, The words of Jesus to his friends that now speak to us all, So, we can share this meal today and in the bread and wine, We can see the love of God is with us for all time.
