But Now... *This causes us to think back to what Paul has previously said......We’ve abandoned God, suppressed the truth, gone our our way, condemned others for the same sins we commit, and we’ve made excuses, etc *We are all guilty sinners “The only righteousness man possesses within himself is unrighteousness because that is the substance of his fallen nature.” ~John MacArthur~

A Clear Focus Shift *From: Me -Unrighteous - sinner by nature - and therefore unable to attain salvation on my own *To: God -Righteous - provided the righteousness we need to be saved *This is important to understand...

Its Not About Me *It wasn’t my deeds......It was His finished work *My faith in Him for the forgiveness of my sins......Was in response to His grace *We didn’t come to Him-He came to us *Justification for sinful man was made possible by God’s grace through the death of Jesus on the cross

Paid in Full *God’s Righteousness......Has been testified by the prophets...Has been made known...Is from God...Comes through faith in Jesus, who is the only one who could offer the kind of sacrifice needed for our redemption “It was our weaknesses He carried; it was our sorrows that weighed Him down...He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins.”
