Historical Comic Strip

Throughout history comics have been used to tell stories, relate information, give opinions, and create humor. You will be creating a historical comic to relay information about a person’s story from the holocaust. 1.Read the article “Fighting Hitler” or “The Boys Who Fought the Nazis” 2.After reading, record critical events that are necessary to understand the story. Be smart about the events you choose…we need to understand the basic story…we don’t need every event or detail! 3.Share your “summary” with someone who read the opposite article. Make changes if needed. 4.Plan or think through your comic…how will you tell the story and how will you illustrate it? 5.Choose a comic template to use. 6.Illustrate, design, and caption your comic in pencil. 7.Check for errors. 8.Final draft your comic by adding color, shading, and by outlining the words.
