In your group, you will outline a paper that describes how to fail at something.
Choose your topic: “How to _____________ in three easy steps!
Choose someone to record your outline.
Decide if you’d like to try a formal or informal outline.
Be sure to keep your organization aligned as you go. All the body paragraphs/ topic sentences/ details should match in formatting, color, etc.

7. Your Turn  Draft a thesis OR draft body paragraph topics.
List your body paragraph topics OR draft your thesis.
Re-phrase your topics as complete sentences (topic sentences).
Spend some time developing details and examples for each paragraph. (The more details the better! What are some specific ways to fail at…..?)
Draft a conclusion sentence.
List some ideas for the intro and the conclusion.
Double check your thesis. Does it still match? If not, revise it so it matches your body paragraphs.
