Fisher School Community Garden Project The goal of our garden is to involve students, staff, families and our community to transform a section of our school ground into an educational and edible garden. Fisher School Community Garden Project Pesticide-free Garden Note: All the chosen flowers are companion plants for the vegetables. Some attract beneficial insects. Others repel or deter pest insects. By “companion planting,” we can increase vigor and vegetable production and create a pesticide-free garden. Fisher School Community Garden Project A former Fisher student has approached the Fisher farms Garden Committee and will be building and installing our 11 perimeter beds (the “U-shaped” beds that line the fence), excavate and install pvc piping to run hoses underground to the garden, and perhaps a few more items.
