Oxygen Requirements

Altitude Restrictions and O2 Requirements Supplemental Oxygen Required Unpressurized 14,000 30 Min Total 1 Hour Total 12,000 10,000 Pressurized Crew O2 masks readily available 25,000 10 Min Supply of O2 for all occupants 14,000 10,000 Maintain Cabin PA at or below 10,000

NOMEX CHARACTERISTICS Flame retardant Does not melt or drip Good chemical resistance More durable than cotton Low fiber shrinkage Low thermal conduction Comfortable to wear 4

MAINTAINING FLIGHT CLOTHING

FLIGHT SUIT CARE Avoid unnecessary wear during ground duties Avoid contact with POL products Wash on a permanent press cycle DO NOT BLEACH OR STARCH Dry at temps less than 180 degrees Dry clean if necessary NOMEX may be ironed; don’t iron the Velcro tabs 14
