Built Environment Indicators  OPHS – conduct surveillance activities around physical activity  In February 2009 Provincial workgroup was formed to develop public health indicators relevant to the built environment.  Review of Literature on the effect of the built environment  Ongoing project

Healthy Communities Ontario  Enhancing health and wellbeing through inter-sectoral collaboration, community engagement and partnerships.  Three main components:  Healthy Communities Fund  Healthy Community Partnerships  Healthy Communities Consortium

Increase resiliency in youth and adults re: alcohol and drug use 8. Increase access to mental health prevention and promotion programs and supports 9. Promote safe environments that prevent injury
