Our Mission Gala, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization. We support and promote emerging artists, art college students, and creative people around the world. We closely cooperate with local and international art schools and colleges. We showcase the work of emerging artists, photographers, and designers. The focus is on international cultural life with the aim to reach open-minded people ready for fresh ideas and new names. Gala, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. Contest Rules 1. Participant should be under 15 years old. 2. The drawing should contain an inspirational massage, and the image of a students’ projection about how she/he can make this world a better place to live in. There are no limitations to imagination. Please encourage students to be as creative as possible! 3. Paper size: 18” x 24” (or high resolution jpg. image). Any media could be used: Pens, Pencils, Paints, Computer Graphic programs. Please encourage children to use strong bold colors. 4. The drawing should be the student’s original work. Gala, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. Contest Goals The contest is held with a goal of creating an opportunity for children to have fun while working on this project, and to understand the importance of personal participation in helping friends, community, family, pets, the environment, and the planet. One doesn’t need to be a president or a social activist to make a positive change. “How I Can Make This World a Better Place” is an encouragement of how just one person can make a difference in solving global, national, and local problems. The best drawings will be printed as 18” X 24” posters by Gala, Inc. and distributed at schools around the world free of charge. Gala, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. Evaluation and the Prizes Evaluation will be conducted by a Panel formed by Gala, Inc. and will include professional young artists and designers. Handling of Entries and Intellectual Property All entries will be handled by the organizer and will not be returned. The intellectual property of the entries is owned by participants.
