Reducing Test Anxiety: Before the Test Be positive!! Utilize positive self-talk or visualization. Keep to your schedule – avoid cramming and don’t skip meals. Be prepared and arrive early. Avoid other people’s stress.
Reducing Test Anxiety: During the Test Read directions C A R E F U L L Y!! Ask questions if you need to. Rephrase questions you don’t understand. “Be here now” – stay present and focused. If you feel anxious, close your eyes and breathe for 30 seconds. Check your work!! Stay positive!! Do your best and let the rest go!
