iPad Apps on your Curriculum Maps Focus Standards for Assessment: K.RL.1 Ask and answer questions about key details in a text. iPad app: Any Books and Readers for all RL K.RL.3 Identify characters, settings, and major events in a story. K.RI.2 Identify the main topic and retell key details of a text. K.RI.5 Identify the front cover, back cover, and title page of a book. K.RI.6 Name the author and illustrator of a text and define the role of each. AZ.KRI.10a Actively engage in group reading of informational and functional texts. Guided Access What is guided access? –Lets you pick and app that you want the students to use. It will only allow them to stay in this app How do I turn it on? –Open the app and triple click on the home button –You can then pick parts of the app you want disabled, then click start How do I turn it off? –Triple click on the home button and enter your passcode which is the last 4 digits of your school phone number, then click end
