What is Organizational Behavior? Organizational Behavior (OB) is the study of individuals and their behavior within the context of the organization in a workplace setting. It is an interdisciplinary field that includes sociology, psychology, social psychology, and management.

After completing Unit 1 , you should be able to: Identify, describe, and discuss the three levels of OB. Describe the disciplines that contribute to organizational behavior. Discuss the foundations of individual behavior. Interpersonal behavior’s affect on OB of an organization. Explain what constitutes interpersonal behavior and how it affects an organization.
